Cannot Update MDE Hyperlink Object

I've created a Hyperlink to a folder on a form.

This works fine until I create the MDE object.

I cannot Add a link when in the MDE mode -

Please Help

how are you trying to add the link?
Are you using code or are you unable to find the menu or toolbar to add the
link?

I'm using a command line button in a form to add the link
example "#\\bsinysvr\datastore\premiumfinance\client files#"

I also cannot find the menu or toolbar to add the the link
Even though I've gone to the Startup and select checked
all options in the following:

a. Menu Bar
b. Shortcut Menu Bar

MDEs intentionally prohibits design mode. My guess is that's why you can't
add a link to your form. Now, if you want to *change* an existing link, that
might be a different story.
