my name is Marquis Buchanan and I would like to discuss the debate. As
many of you may know, the presidential debate was last night. I do not know
your opinions about it, but I thought that Barack Obama should win. I
thought of this because Obama communicated to everyone effectively. Now, his
ambition was to speak to each and every one of us which he did as well as
McCain, but there are some things that Obama did thathis opponent did not.
First of which, Obama kept his temper to a minimum for being sarcastic and
down bringings like McCain. He also was able to talk about the same topic
without swaying to a different one. Another thing that Obama did that mcCain
did was that he was not showing favoritism. McCain thought that only high
class people should have help with money issue, where Obama thought that we
all needed help but the lower class a little more. One thing that McCain
said that I agree with is that we need guns in our home. I think that this
is true because if someone is crazy enough to break into your home, you will
need some type of protection. Now, Obama, is against guns. I do not know for
sure but I think that he is against guns because there are house alarms, but
the problem with house alarms are the fact that some people may not be able
to afford the bill every month.
